The appointment
What you should expect
Podiatry is a medical treatment and as such we need to keep a record of what happens during your sessions with us. To do this accurately and to comply with UK law we need to take certain details such as your name, address and date of birth. Once your appointment is booked we will email you a new patient registration form to complete prior to your appointment. If you are unable to remember your medications it would be helpful if you could bring a list or a copy of your repeat prescription to your appointment with you.
During this appointment the podiatrist will take a comprehensive medical history & expertly address and advise on any routine foot concerns you may have, such as:
-
Long nails
-
Corns
-
Callus
-
Cracked Heels
-
Thickened Nails
-
Athletes Foot
-
Fungal Nails
-
Ingrown Nails
Our initial podiatry / chiropody appointment also allows us time to discuss what course of action to take next. Therefore, please also book this appointment if you’d like us assess your suitability for our more specialised procedures.
